Her Soil is Her Story Inc. is a Belle Glade–based nonprofit dedicated to creating pathways to opportunity. Our programs include:

• Tax Companion: Financial literacy and free tax filing services (IRS VITA/TCE) to make money management accessible.
• Elevate Belle Glade: which equips high school students with resources to prepare for college and the workforce.

Led with transparency and accountability, we measure impact through improved financial literacy, stronger mentorship engagement, and increased college readiness. Together with our partners and donors, we are cultivating sustainable change, because her soil is her story, and every story deserves to grow.

 Our mission is to empower families and youth in Belle Glade and beyond with the tools to achieve financial stability, educational success, and long-term economic mobility. Through free tax filing services, financial literacy education, and college readiness programs, we cultivate opportunities that help every story flourish. 

 We envision a community where every young person and family has equitable access to resources, guidance, and opportunities that lead to higher education, meaningful careers, and generational wealth. By planting seeds of knowledge and empowerment, we aim to transform Belle Glade into a model of resilience, equity, and success.
